Terms of Service
Registration
Registration for Greasy Ballers programs is on a first-come, first-served basis. A spot is only reserved once payment has been completed in full. Divisions may have limited capacity — register early to secure your player's spot. Eligibility is determined by birth year per the published division chart.
Code of Conduct
Greasy Ballers is a development-first environment. We expect players, parents, and coaches to treat each other, officials, and arena staff with respect. Unsportsmanlike behaviour — including verbal abuse, threatening conduct, or deliberate dangerous play — may result in suspension or removal from the program without refund.
Refunds And Cancellations
If we cancel, you get a full refund. If we postpone, you choose between the new date and a full refund. If you need to withdraw, email us before the program starts and we will find a fair resolution.
- If we cancel a program
- If Greasy Ballers cancels a program before it begins, you receive a FULL refund of everything you paid, including HST. You do not need to ask, and there is no administration fee. We return it to the card used at registration, normally within 5 to 10 business days.
- If we postpone a program
- If Greasy Ballers moves a program to a new date, you choose. You may keep your spot for the new date at no extra cost, or take a FULL refund, including HST. We will tell you the new date and give you a clear deadline to decide, and choosing a refund is never treated as a cancellation on your part.
- If we shorten a program after it has started
- If we have to end a program early, we refund the portion that was not delivered, calculated pro rata on the sessions remaining, including the HST on that portion.
- Individual sessions we cannot run
- A single game or practice lost to arena availability, weather, a facility closure or a similar event is not refunded on its own. We will reschedule it, or replace it with equivalent ice or floor time, and we will tell registered families as soon as we know.
- If you need to withdraw
- Before the program begins, email us and we will do our best to find a fair resolution, including a refund where the spot can be filled. Once the program is underway we are generally unable to refund, because the floor time, officials and equipment for the season are already committed.
- Injury and medical withdrawal
- If a player suffers an injury or a medical condition that prevents them from continuing, contact us with medical documentation. We will refund the unplayed portion pro rata. We would rather a player recovered properly than felt pressure to return.
- Removal for misconduct
- A participant suspended or removed for conduct that is unsafe, abusive or seriously disruptive is not entitled to a refund. This is set out in our Participation Agreement and in the Code of Conduct above.
- How to ask
- Email hello@greasyballers.com with the player's name, the program and what has happened. We answer quickly, and we would always rather sort something out directly than have you dispute a charge with your bank.
Program Changes
Greasy Ballers reserves the right to modify schedules, venues, division structures, or program formats due to circumstances outside our control (including arena availability, weather, or low enrollment). We will communicate any material changes to registered participants as soon as possible.
Liability
Participation requires completion of our Waiver and Liability Release. See our Waiver page for details. Greasy Ballers is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation beyond the scope of our insurance coverage.
